Green Market Goes to the Dogs

Green Market

A friend and I have a standing date to spend Saturday mornings at the West Palm Beach Green Market.

Besides the fresh air and sunshine, vendors’ booths are filled with good things…  fruits, flowers, seafood, vegetables, spices, baked goods, etc. If you have an urge for a little something to eat, just sniff your way to some really good cooking… ribs, beans and rice, conch, red velvet doughnuts and so much more. Oh, and of course, coffee and live music. There is something for everyone.

Two Legs or Four…

While sitting with coffee and listening to the live music of the day, I noticed how many people, strolling among the vendors, were attached to leashes with dogs leading the way. And why not? It was a beautiful day for human and beast alike.

I had a great time dog watching. Below are some of the canines that crossed my path this morning.

  • My Lake Worth bike ride takes me through a neighborhood that I call The Land of The Big Dogs, but your Green Market has the widest variety of four-legged animals I’ve seen.
