  • If Malcolm gives his mother a sunflower, does that make it a son flower?

  • A suggestion… don’t cut it. Tie a big ribbon around it and have Malcolm walk Sarah outside. She’ll get to enjoy it much longer.

    I love sunflowers! Actually, I have three favorites…. Irises, Marigolds and Sunflowers. Luckily, two of the three will grow down here in the heat.

  • Sunflowers are allelopathic. They are poisonous to many other plants. I plant mine far away from anything I care about.
